What's up guys. I swapped a b17 into my ls integra. The motor is totally stock. My CEL has been on ever since and is throwing a code 21. It definitely never came on when i had it in my db2 integra so i have no idea what the problem is. I took it to a local shop and they wouldnt diagnose it because it was a swap so any help would be awesome.

21- VTEC spool solenoid valve

Does youre vtac work..?
Ill let the more experienced guys help you out.
Take youre vtec sylenoid of and clean out the lil wire uumm screen or just replace it, its like 10$. Did you wire up youre vtec wires corectly to youre ecu..?
Are you running the corect ecu..?

Well i replaced the solenoid screen when i did the swap. My friend and I spent forever making sure we had the wires pinned in the correct spots, so i'm sure the wiring is fine because vtec works.
