Code 21 usually means the wiring. Check your wires makes sure there good. If they are take off your VTEC Solienoid and check the screen thats in it, make sure thats clean. If you didnt touch anything electrical putting the turbo on you shouldnt have a problem. You and nekoabandoned. I dont understand why your VTEC wouldnt be working.

i dont hear vtec at all.. it doesnt kick in and it feels harder trying to get near redline. like its struggling trying to climb to higher rpms after 5700. like i mean it takes longer or feels like it is.

i tried the battery trick where u hook up a wire to the + battery terminal and to the solenoid green/yellow wire and it clicks..

Did you maybe hose up the oil pressure to your vtec solenoid when you ran your oil tap line?

Wait you tapped your oil supply for your turbo there? It really should come from were the oil pressure sending unit is on the back. That is probably your problem.

Change your oil feed to the oil pressure switch off the back of the block. That is most likely your problem.
Also I would get your setup tuned asap. Running a N/A tune is asking for bad things.

thats probably your problem, vtec probably is not getting enough oil pressure to engage. you should also check your turbo, probably filled with too much oil as well due to you tapping vtec oil pressure. you should tap the oil pressure in the back

everytime when vtec activated, the engine would strugle, bog, and strugle some more with no engine light. tried everything to make it go away... didn't work.

#1 get rid of VAFC

You smell burning when the turbo spools? thats bad mmmmkay

Vtec requires oil pressure and coolant temp then ECU signal. Also I would clear up any CEL you get (cel 41) before expecting anything to work. Do you get the MAP sensor CEL when you hit boost with the VAFC?

thats bad

If you have a chipped ECU already go the extra mile and get a moates burner and chip and start tuning with crome.
