So I have a 92 civic with a Ls Block Gsr Head....i have the stock wire harness and i manually wired up the vtec to a p28 ecu with Hondata..i am running a turbo setup....we just dyno'd it and i am havin a problem...the car hits vtec....but as soon as it does it throws a cel...i checked it once..it gave me code 21...we tried it on 2 diff ecu's and 2 diff hondata's...i will smash on it in 1st and it will go into vtec....go into 2nd...hit vtec...as soon as i let off it throws the cel...or i can just hit vtec in 1st gear...let off and it throws the code....i tried changing the solenoid...and i tried goin back and checkin the wires and soldering it and making sure it is all good....i still have the same problem....any idea's anyone?

 

whats your resistance reading on the Vtec wire at the ecu and the sensor. Should be very low.
