My friend with an ITR had the same code pop up. After it came on a few times, he started taking it to the dealership. They ended up replacing something and he hasn't had a code come up since. I'll see if he has the work-up sheet.

BTW, don't let they charge you anything for any service they do concerning this problem. It's an emissions warranty problem and that warranty is in effect for 10 years/100k miles.

Last time I checked it was a federal regulation for car manufacturers to warranty emissions equipment for 10 years or 100k miles.

woudl the fact that i have an aftermarket intake/header/exhaust warrant them not to warranty it?

i've been driving around with mine for about 4 months with no problems. the charcoal canister is on the left bottom in the engine bay (if you're looking from the front of the car). right above the steering rack, to the right of the battery. its a black canister looking thingy.

Probably one of the lines going to the carcol canister or coming off of it. Check those lines, I bet there is a leak in one of them.
