CEL
I have a 96 Auto LS, and i've got a CEL, I'm not sure if its OBD1 or 2, but i looked behind the console cause i've read about jumping it with a paper clip, but theres like 10 or 12 holes...not sure how to get the code....any suggestions? or should I just take it to a dealer and let them pull the codes for me

10-12 holes? You're looking in the wrong spot.
Sit in your passenger seat. Pretty much where your right knee touches the dash is where the plug is. Look UNDER your dash near the passenger side door. You'll see a plug (blue, i think... or green.) It will be plugged into something else, it's just 2 wires and the plug. Unplug it, and jump it with the paper clip.
Turn the car to "on" and read the code.
