Default catch can

I am going to install a basic catch can with a breather filter and I don't want to weld fittings onto the valve cover. Where should I run it from? The small tube that already comes off the valve cover? What about the breather in the back of the block?

My engine is OBD1 B18c1

Is it also possibly to minimize thre amount of vacuum lines in my engine bay? How should I route them?

I am doing a wire tuck and want my engine bay clean . . . . . .

I'm wondering the same thing lol. I have a nrg can from my block fittings by the oil filter. Both lines to the can. But i have a line of oil in my cold air intake tubing and valve cover gaskets seeping oil now. I want to "T" the intake to valve cover hose and run in to "Y" into one of the catch can hoses. My catch can is where my air box would have been.

You can run it off the pcv, or the valve cover vent tube.

Ok cuz I have no pcv system on the car since I bought it. My air intake tube has oil line threw it. Ruind the bottom of the filter. So I want to T the hose runs off the valve cover to intake tube and T one line going into the catch can. Thanks

Sound more like your engine needs to be rebuilt, not a catch can.

Yes it does lol . I have a b20vtec in the car since I bought it a year and 2 months ago and it came like this with the can. I bought a b18c5 fresh rebuild and machine shopped. But I still want to get this right before I put the new motor in so I'm not sucking all that oil back in or draining down my intake tube. I do plan on rebuilding the b20 ones the new motor is in. I think it will have more power then the b18c5. Thanks

Use the breather port on the VC and the block port where the black charcoal canister attaches. That's enough for a simple 2 port catch can and is fairly inconspicuous
