Re: Car starts and then slowly dies.
I dont think its the MAP I checked my Helm (for B18C1...same thing) and if there's no CEL for it...they say it can be intermittent and/or wiring issue
This might not be it but maybe main relay???
What about you had a bad dizzy and now have a wrong dizzy?
Seems really weird if its 2 bad engine harnesses.
FITV and IACV were checked/cleaned?
Did you ever get the alternator checked out?

I've checked main relay, and my new dizzy is from a gsr. I don't think it's the harness anymore. I haven't checked the IACV. The throttle body I have isn't fast idle. But I am about to swap it with one that is. Alternator ended up being fine as well.

Re: Car starts and then slowly dies.
UPDATE.
So I started the car today, and it ran for about 9 mins. Just as it started burning oil from around the exhaust manifold, is when is started dying. Any thoughts?

Piston rings not seated correctly? Didn't you say it was a fresh re-build? If you are burning oil out the cylinder then I say its your rings. Were they clocked correctly when installed? This may be internal. What about silly stuff like timing belt off at tooth??

I'm honestly starting to think it's the rings. I clocked them according to the helms. But as I research everyone says 180 degrees apart.

Did you make sure to not put them on a load axis? 180 is right (from what I know) but at 2pm and 7pm (in terms of a clocks time)
