is there a way to manually control the compressor clutch and keep it on what tells compressor to turn on???????

well, your compressor clutch spins much faster when you are driving because you are revving your engine. when you are stopped, you are just idling and your compressor clutch isnt spinning as fast, hence weak circulation of coolant. thats what i assume your problem, or lack of problem is.

 

so if i were to raise the idle it will cool better at idle ive tried accelrating a little in neutral to like 1,500 but didnt notice a difference

 

try holding the rpm's to around 3000 at idle, you should be able to notice a difference.

a few rpms wont make a difference at all, so dont mess with your idle.

 

i never had to do this be4 is there any other reason why this is happening???

 

what year is your car? my ac compressor went out last month. i have a 95. after 10 years it was bound to die on me.

 

1994 also but the thing is then it gets cold when i drive but when i stop and idle it gets hot only when its hot outside

 

did you try to refill the ac? mine did that, then i refilled it. then it died. go to mechanic and let them check the pressure in your ac system.

ohh, i didnt realize it got HOT, mine just gets a bit weak.

 

it gets real hot when im idling i think it like a thermometer or sumthing that tells it to do that when im at idle wtf is going on im burning in the heat help me please

 

is there a way i can manually keep the compressor running because for some reason it turns off when it shouldnt be whne im idling it turns off then it turns back on when it gets really hot then it shuts off when its warm but if i can keep it on it will get cold inside. is this possible???
