Default A/C delete?

Anything special i need to know... Or do i just take the a/c compressor and all that stuff out? I don't have A/C so might as well take it out and lose some weight haha.

I have been wondering that too because i have the A/C but someone took out the a/c radiator, thats all. So can I or us, jsut pull out everything else like the lines and condensor. Trying to lose some weight and clean the engine bay some. The lines cover up the header manifold.

if you want to keep heat then don't remove anything from under the dash; just get rid of the compressor, condensor, and all of the lines in the engine bay. i made the mistake of removing ac in my black integra and will never do that again. nothing like pulling up to work completely soaked when it's 110* out

Isn't there something that you need to have a shop remove because of hazardes chemicals? I live in Western-Washington we get rain and clouds and 80* weather.

you CAN 'gut' out the piece under the dash and use it as a 'tube' to keep the heat flowing. it comes apart, that part in the inside is actually pretty heavy...

I went to the scrap yard and had the original dock from an RS that replace the evaporator under the dash for 10$... No big deal...

As for the weight, on my GSR I took absolutly everything that had a relation with AC and it shows 38lbs on the scale... Add the 2lbs of freon and you save 40lbs total... FYI...
