Default A/C compressor removal

Just now getting around to removing my a/c .. Wanted to know if i <U>HAVE</U> to remove condenser and evap can at the same time thanx...

You don't have to, but why leave it if you are not going to have A/C anyways?

Yeah might as well take it all out, weight reduction
Just be careful I was dumb when I took mine out and had compressed frion spraying in my face. Here's to stupidity.

If you really want to win the extra 3whp, don't remove the a/c compressor but just remove the belt. samething and when summer rolls around next year, you can pop that belt back instead of having to bolt the compressor back on and refill your freon.

so all you need to do is remove the belt. I thought you would have to do the whole 9 yrds. ???

The A/C doesn't take any horsepower when it isn't being run. Don't cut the belt off; just don't run it.
