Default a/c condensor

Can you remove the a/c condensor from the car, and keep it off? Or is it just easier to take the belt off?

You would have to discharge your complete system to do it but you can either take the belt off or remove compressor.

If removing a/c you might as well take all lines, compressor, condensor and evaporator out as well.
The condensor being removed will give your radiator better breathing capabilities.

I belive that my compressor went, becuase I just replaced the belt, and every time the AC kicks on there is a weird noise coming from the compressor. So instead of just taking the belt off, I was thinking of removing the whole system.
