Default Bubble sound coming from engine.

Well like my title states. I have this bubblish sound coming from my engine... to be more exact i can hear it through the intake. It does it the whole time im driving when theres load on the car. when im idling theres no sign... Change my spark plugs... and continued to happen. Took it to a mechanic.. and all they said was well its not effecting the performance.. so its still good... ... well if anyone out there can give me any suggestions or hopefully a solution....that would help me out greatly

Well yes i do have a short ram intake. I also have a Skunk2 intake manifold. I've had these mods for almost 3 months now. Also when I tried taking off the short ram intake today to see if that solved my problem... but you still can hear it... it just isn't as loud when the short ram is on.

Could you describe a little more what you mean by "bubbling" sound? I'm having a really had time imagining an engine making that sound. Is it like water boiling? or like a big bubble coming to the surface of water?

You're radiator cap is on right?

O yea of course my radiator cap is on... i checked that. lol. but lets see... well it sounds sorta like a gurgle but also like boiling water.... but on low temperature.... you can only hear it through the intake. I removed my short ram.. and you still can hear it through the IM. soo its something internally for sure...

maybe its a fuel leak or coolant in your im i could be dead wrong though. good luck are you shure its not from in the head like valve lash.

Well thats the problem... i don't know exactly... i was hoping to see if my description was good enough for other ht-ers that maybe had similar problems and could possibly pose a solution. Which hopefully eliminate the process of me guessing and just changing things that don't need to be changed... but i will definately look into your suggestion.

Do you have the ability to post a video clip so everybody can understand what you mean?

I think not, whats he mean by there sticking that makes no sense for some reason i think you need a valve adjustment or valve lash done how many miles are on the motor?, if it needs new valves cause of damaged or improperly operating valves or valve train would'nt the car drive like crap someone correct me if im wrong! how does the car drive? is there an obviouse decrease in power you have noticed? have a leak down test done to the head to make sure its your valves also i believe its 7in and 8ex for your valve lash he might be trying to stiff you getting new valves installed is a lot of work and $ involved!, at leats have a leak down test performed and the valve lash by maybe by someone else for a second opinion and report back

Did this problem start recently? Did you install new parts before you started hearing this? For you to be hearing a bubbling sound from your intake could only be one of a few things: oil, coolant, or fuel. Do a compression test, maybe there's more to it than you think.

Well actually the car drives perfectly fine. It just has a bubbly sound. Umm sometimes... on either a cold/warm start the car bogs at acceleration for like a minute. And then its perfectly fine. But only mods i have done to my car that was recent was my S2IM... which i put in 3 months ago. But still i gotta get some money together to get the compression test and also to check my valve lash. Thanks for the info. Sorry i wasn't more specific in the beginning... Wish i owned a decent camera so i could've taken a video.
