Default Boost numbers

Hey,

I want to go FI on my car, but I'm not sure which route to take. I want GO for my $$$s. I'm looking at GReddy, Drag, Vortech, and Jackson Racing right now... here is some quick background:
-I've got an 96 LS.
-I only want to do ~7-8 psi, not interested in blowing up my engine.
-I've already got I/H/E, so a supercharger would replace less.

Couple of questions:
1. if anyone out there has dynos of any of these, could you post links please (not really a question, rather a request)
2. is there another manufacturer that I should look at?
3. anyone have any experiences they could share about a 7-8 psi boost on their LS.

Thanks!

It all depends on how much you want to spend and where you want your power. At 8lbs I would probably go with a JRSC IMO. Trust me and remove the vortech off your list right now, greddy's are not too great either but it may not be such a big deal since you only want to run 7-8 lbs. Do a search and you can find tons of information, there is a good thread right now about the JRSC. Also try posting in the FI forum, you will probably have better luck there.

the greatness of a greddy kit will be largely determined by where you live, if you are in socal, i'd say the greddy kit is great, dont have to worry about cops ticketing you for you setup
