do basic bolt ons (I/H/E) really make a big difference?

IMO, for integras, no. With boltons you may improve .5 secs or so in the quarter.

That looks a little harsh. I do like tinkering with my car, so I have bolt-ons. If you are looking for bang for the buck get a turbo or sc. IHE can easily cost 1200.

I think they do. Both my friend and I have 95 GSR's, mine has I/E, and he has nothing, and my car pulls way harder than his.

bolt ons are a stepping stone to major tuning. You have to look at the bigger picture. If your just going to get I/H/C/E and never do anything else it isn't worth it.

Depends on your definition of a "big difference". Bolt-ons will generally tighten your throttle response and get the car to pull a bit harder. I have only a CAI on my Teg, and I thought it made a nice difference.

The biggest difference with bolt-ons is generally the noise level.

Is this thread in regard to this post. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=304827

I will add that I'm very pleased with the performance gains from these easy "bolt on's" I will add that if this is the only upgrade one is going to do to their car, it's probably not worth it. I do plan on future upgrades for the engine internals. And I'm not concerned about the drag-strip, imo the drag strip , autox

yeah probably but IMO auto is a waste of time. if u wanna drag or autocross 5spd is the way to go. but to answer ur question, i put i/h/e and i feel a difference in my LS.

mostly depends on the driver...the sound makes it feel and seem your going faster, but it only helps very minimal...when you start doing internal work, then you'll start noticing gains
