4 bolt vs. 5 bolt
newbie to turbo. sorry for the stupid question, but what's the difference between a 4 bolt and a 5 bolt turbo, besides flange fittament and the obvious. and does it improve performance in anyway??? thanks.
differences in turbo housings...usually a 5 bolt will run you a little more...but some companies such as rev hard etc...only make 5 bolt housing etc...or vice versa...nothing performance wise....
they look very similar, but Garrett R&D swears that the 4bolt will out perform the 5 bolt style.
Garrett knows their ****, plus I'm a big fan of Garrett so I can't argue
