Default bogging or hesistation problem

I recently started to have a problem where my car would hesitate when accelerating in all gears between 1000-2000 rpms. Usually close to 2000 but right before it. The car goes then gets like real slow and doesn't accelerate for a few seconds and suddently jerks and starts going. What could be causing this problem. The car has little over 155k on it. Stock ECU and only I/H/E. I just did a oil change and put some STP oil treatment in when i did the oil change and also put some lucas injector cleaner in. Any ideas?

also got a vafc recently that isn't hooked up yet. I am wondering if I should get the car tuned with that if it will help. Anyone know how much it will run to get it tuned with that?

Almost 100% sure it is your catalytic converter. PM'd

would the timing go off just like that on its own. I have never messed with the timing or anything like that.

actually i think im noticing it only happens when the car is warm. The idle is now getting lumpy. It drops to where it almost dies and the car shakes a bit then goes backup after a few moments.
