Default Bleeding the Power Steering

During the changing my timing belt I had to disconect the power steering canister to make some room. After the completed mission I conected the hose and followed the instructions in my Hayns manual. Simply, fill the canister to the line, start car, and turn the steering wheel from side to side. If level drops, fill until level again.

I did this, but now I find if I cut the wheel all the way it "screeches". Also when cold and at a stand still the wheel is hard then easy to turn.

Any advice?
TIA
