by the thermostat housing, its a 12mm, should be by the upper radiator inlet to the block, (assumed highest point) of the coolent.

or you can leave the raditor cap off and start the car. Then lightly squeeze the raditor hoses to get all the bubbles and air out. I had a bleeder valve on my 94 RS but broke it off when installing my thermostat. I went to Acura and they sold me a 98 and above part but Acura started making the part without the valve (I'm guessing too many people like me were braking them) The service guys told me just to squeeze the hoses and you'll be fine. It worked great.

Thermostat housing? My bleeder screw is where the upper rad. hose attaches to the engine, but the thermostat housing is on the lower rad. hose. Is the GS-R different from other cars? My friend's Civic coolant bleeder screw is also on the upper rad. hose.

Yup, I too broke the bleeder valve on the water outlet housing when changing coolant on my 94 Integra. I bought a new one from Acura and it didn't have the bleeder valve. I asked the Part guy and he said it was necessary. All newer models Integra didnt' have them either.
