on my 92 integra gsr the tranny won't go into secon'd gear. it feels like it is going in fine but when you let out the clutch it just grinds. once a week maybe i can get it to go in but VERY RARELY. the transmission has new shift linkage and brand new synchros.. i bought it like this and am curious if it might be a bent shift fork . thanks in advance for any help

 

also if it could be the chift fork does anyone know if i can use the shift fork out of a 94 ls tranny in my gsr tranny??

 

do all the other gears go in fine?

if it was the fork it wouldn't let you in 1st or second or any of the bottom gear
i bought a ITR tranny it had a busted and it only let me go in 3rd and 4th...

look under the car and make sure the linkage isn't rubbing with anything...
or your tranny is busted..

maybe you just need a new clutch

Have you tried 4th? if that is having a hard time too then you are right. if not, well then i have no idea.

 

well it goes in all other gears great. clutch feels strongm too. and it has a brand new shift linkage..
