Default BAR Certification?

a couple nights ago i recieved my first ref ticket. as of now my setup is..
1992 integra
1st gen jdm b16a converted to obd1
USDM OBD1 P72 ecu
aebs intake manifold as the only mod
other than that its STOCK
im kind of stuck decided how to resolve this..

should i just go try n source an ls motor and whatever smog equipment i might be missing?

OR try to get my b16 BARed?

does anyone have any info that would help my situation or what the ref will require you to have. is it even possible to BAR a jdm motor?

ive tried searching but didnt find anything that could answer my questions well enough..thanks

You can BAR a first gen B16. You basically need to make the motor look like it came out of a 95 del sol (P30 intake manifold, exhaust manifold, purge valve, etc and u can use your stock DA air box and tube). That also means you will NEED a usdm P30 ecu.

Make sure your tranny matches with the motor and all of your sensors and hoses are hooked up. Other than that smogging a JDM motor is just as easy as smogging a USDM motor as long as everything is hooked up correctly.

it wont, you will absolutely need the USDM B16A IM from a B16A3 and you will need a USDM P30 ECU

Yep should be perfectly fine. I know a guy who ref'd his B18C1 with a skunk manifold.
