Default B20 Vtec

My gsr engines going down so i was thinking about putting in a B20 motor into it but im still keeping the gsr head...does anyone kno what car this come out of and wat numbers its gonna be putting down to the wheels?

What specifically is wrong with the GS-R block? If you want 2 litres, I'd personally sleeve and bore the B18C1 rather than run a B20 block.

I agree to a point. Unless you plan on fully balancing the B20 and running with different pistons, then don't expect it to be nearly as versatile as the stock motor. What is exactly wrong with the stock engine?

id try to fix the motor you have now before starting a project like that....depending on what the problem is

I've seen some hatchbacks with b20vtec and dyno'd over 200 hp and 145 ib ft of tq all-motor with bolt-ons, but im doing b20 vtec to my 94 teggy

no you havent..no b20vtec will put down 200 whp with ihe......you will be much better off just boring out the gs-r motor, because the crankshaft, etc. are all ready made to rev with the gs-r head

It can put out close to 200hp with high comp pistons and right ecu setup and all.... it's achievable
