b20/vtec
i have a 94 civic coupe
i want a b20/vtec what kind of block do i need to get? (like out of what year car)
what would be the best head?
what kind of tranny?

honestly. if you don't know what knid of BLOCK to get for a B20/vtec i don't think you should even think about it. just stick with a gsr. reliable and legal.

The car I'm buying has a b20 block, b16head, and a type r tranny and I don't trust it..thinking about a h-series or maybe just do a b18c5.

I have been thinking about doing this just for the fun of it, since the B20 blocks are pretty cheap. But

B20 BLOCKS ARE CHEAP?!?!?!?!?!? WHERE THE expletive ARE YOU LOOKING?! 5-600 for a B20 unless you pull it outta a junkyard.
b20-any year crv
head depends on what you want to run
gsr-higher compression
b16-lower compression
they both flow about the same STOCK
If you think the b20 blocks are cheap, don't do the build. They're more than you think. b20vtec.com is a great site for those builds....
