I ran a chipped ecu on my old b20b swap, i actually fixed the same kind of problem (low idle) by adjusting my IAC compensation thru crome (running a chipped ecu) not sure if you are? & Yes.. if there's black grime on the alternator it is most likely axle grease, check the boots and replace as needed.

As far as clutches go.. ACT, Competition, EXEDY all brands.. Search the forum and read the [faq] about clutches.

check the Sponsor Marketplace for the best deals.

Thank you for the help and advice......I did see on my way to work this morning that it wanted to stall a little bit more and I notice it does want to stall when I play with the gas pedel a little. it stalled and it took a couple seconds to crank over so I'm thinking possibly a fuel pump??.....I did buy the re-boot kit and I do need the seal where the half shaft meets the tranny so a lot of my undercarriage leaks are from the axles but the car does need distributor gasket and o-ring and a valve cover gasket also so that's what I believe is my upper leaks......I hope that I don't need an IAC they r pricey but I will try that 2 fix my crazy idle and stalling issues.....if you have any other possible ideas at issues or what to watch for that would be great.....and is a b20 b a usdm or jdm motor??

Ok today took the IACV out and cleaner it and had 2 re-wire the wires 2 it because previous owner was terrible at working on cars.....I cleaned it out and it still is having a hard time idling and on the way home from work almost everytime I put my foot on the clutch it would almost stall unless I put it in gear or rev-ved it a little....I'm thinking its a tps and as far as every once and a while when it takes a while 2 start after it stalls idk what that is?.....its annoying trying 2 drive the car with it stalling like it is and it doesn't make it easier that the clutch is going and to start out I have to put it in 1st before I stop or it won't go into gear.....someone please help!!!
