Re: b18c1 axles
There's lots of places you can just plug in the vin and get parts....if it's stock. However, there's also a lot junk parts out there that aren't very good. I'm doing the same job on mine at the moment.....but including the intermediate shaft (and ball joints and wheel bearings). There are lots of companies that sell rebuilt OEM, and they're junk. They don't last. It was easy enough figuring out what parts, harder finding quality parts I'd be satisfied with.

Re: b18c1 axles
went with the yonaka half shaft since the stealers want $300-400 for a new one.
so far it's hanging in there nicely after 4 years or so.
some of their other stuff has so-so reviews on amazon.

Yes, I talked to them on the phone. My impression was they're probably near OEM quality. Otherwise I have no experience with them. I chose a more expensive product, just hoping to get 15 years of use. I'm trying to slow down some. My car is 28 years old and even tho I've put in lots of new OEM or better parts and the engine is only at 176k...I want it to last another 10 or more years.
I did go with Honda seals and would suggest that.
Yes, mixed reviews.
