AP1 or K20 swap in integra(2000) ls???
I am 16 and want a long term project so I recently bought a 4 door ls 2000 integra, no trans, and no engine. its a rolling shell. My first thought was a k20a3 or k20a4 swap but then i saw the engine bay, and there was literally nothing there so i thought, s2000 ap1 would be nice. s2000 drive train, cv's, drive shaft, the whole nine yards. rwd swap it if i did ap1. fwd track car if i did k20. I just want something no one has really done before, and i feel like a rwd "Integra-2000" would be hella cool. I just want to know if anyone has any advice on this.
And please refrain from calling me stupid for having dreams.

My first question to you is this - how much experience do you have with working on stuff? Not just cars, but anything involving tools. Because if you're going to try to put an S2000 powertrain into a front wheel drive car, then you better have the knowledge and experience of a garage of mechanics, some engineers, and a machine and fab shop. Even just putting in a stock 1st gen CRV drivetrain into an integra is a **** ton of work with lots of cutting, welding, custom fabrication, etc. And that's the easy RWD/AWD swap to do. If you've grown up ACTUALLY working on cars and even as a 16 year old you really know what you're doing, then stick to a K-swap if you want to go outside the box. That will be plenty challenging, and I imagine with the limited funds someone your age has, that would still be a long term project if you're doing all/most of the work with your own hands. IMO, you would still have your hands full just properly putting in a B-series engine. To have that driving nice and smooth, and still be a fun car is a lot of work. It's not just "dropping in the engine". I'm not calling you stupid for having dreams, you just have to understand the background, experience, facilities, tools/machinery, time, and money you need to correctly put in an S2000 engine, tranny, and the rest of the drivetrain, suspension, sub-frame and all of that stuff.

My dad, step dad, mom and both sides of grandparents have taught me alot. Ive been working on cars since i can remember. I actually did all the work on my eclipse, and its pushing close to 400. So i know my way around tools and cars, but thank you. I will definately do the k swap.

Yea with an empty engine bay to start, a k swap would be fun for a long term project. The S2000 idea though just isn't a garage project unfortunately. That's not even in the same ballpark as turning wrenches and knowing how to work on engines.

Also, you're 16. So I'm sure money will be a huge factor. Both the options you gave will result in large financial costs for an adult with a full time job, let alone a 16 year old.
Instead of not providing any details, I'm going to give you my opinion. Learn everything about the vehicle. Current motor, transmission, suspension, etc. From there, rebuild the LS Motor from the ground up. New rods, new pistons, new main bearings, rod bearings, etc. With the bottom end rebuilt, you can expand your options on going Turbo LS, LSV or Turbo LSV. Learn everything you can about the B18. It's an awesome platform with PLENTY of support/capability.
Example;
580HP Turbo LSVTEC
Nobody is going to call you stupid for having a dream. You just have to be realistic about it. You have to start somewhere, so start there.
