Default b18a gearbox in a b18c1

Is that possible?
I see ppl putting b18c1 gearbox in LS vtec, so i thought to myself can i use the b18a gearbox in my b18c1 because i gearbox is rooted.

And yes i know the ratio are different, i just want to know if it interchangable so i can get my car back on the road

thanks in advanced

Yes isn't a complete answer, he should have told you the complete truth. The B18A tranny is a cable shifted tranny, the B18C tranny is a hydraulic shifted tranny.

The tranny WILL bolt up, BUT you'll need a hydraulic to cable conversion kit, that runs about $200 or so for the hasport version, to use the tranny. Don't expect a Plug and Play operation.

B18A1 were found on 90-93 Integras. They use shift linkages too

Anything from 94-01 is hydro. You sure it's not from a B18B1?
