Default B18A Block build

I was wondering what are some internals that should be built on my B18A engine inorder for it to be able to handle high power? I was told to get piston rings, pistons, rods, rod bolts I am not sure which brand is good quality and cheap. Is there anything else that should be changed?

p30 with rings? Will they fit a B18A (non-vtec)? Also will I be needing anything else for my engine to handle high power?

What is your definition of "high power"? What are you building it for? Turbo? N/A?

Depending on your power goals, you can spend $1000 or $5000 easily.

If you are going turbo, then don't get the p30 pistons. The P30s are OEM B16 pistons and will raise your compression. Lower compression is better for boost. Get the P30s if you're going N/A.

The Good Stuff is never too cheap..i would go JE pistons and wristpins...high compression or low compressing depending if your gonna boost or not.......and while your at it Get RODS and all your bearings too...

id go with 81.5mm CP pistons with somewhere around 9:1 comp. Id also go with Eagle H Beam rods...no need to buy rod bolts seeing the Eagles alread come with them.

Im going with cp pistons and eagle rods myself. For my build im also picking up some arp headbolts, oem honda bearings, oem headgasket, oem timing belt, oem water pump. Maybe even possibly sleeving it, but it depends on the budget i have after summer

like turboteg said. exept instead of h beams go wih i beams. they r built for turbo. h beams r for all motor. and if ur looking to push more than about 15 psi, u should also sleeve it. good luck

I am personally going to be using Wiseco pistons and Eagle H-beam rods.

My engine right now has 300,xxx KM and I am going to rebuild it asap. I am planning on pushing like 12 psi max.
Heres what I have come up with:
- cp pistons and eagle rods
- arp headbolts
- new pumps and belts
- Everything else rebuilt if needed
