Default B17 bore/boost question

ok so i picked up a low mile b17 to build and go into my 92gsr

im going boost so i didnt wanna have it bored if at all possible

long story short #2 has a spun bearing and it marred up the top of the cylinder a little, not too bad, but bad enough to have it bored.

ok my goal is 17-20 psi....

now this is where yall come in
what would yall recommend, get it bored or get it re sleeved????

i didnt really wanna have it re sleeved because of the cost... i could get it done but it is going to set me back pretty good...

thanks in advance

your goal is 17-20 psi? that does not explain anything...you need to do some research in the boosting department then come back here. psh, noobs...

boring will be ok. when you do it sience you are going to be getting new pistons get some low comp ones by a good brand. je aris there are a bunch do some reasherch to find the ones that suit you best. while its apart I would get a set of manley turbo tuff rods. sleeving is also a good option but do you have 800-1200+ at doing it. if so I personaly would get darton 84mm sleves put in. but good luck with it all.

Go to the Forced Induction forum for this type of post. There is a great FAQ at the top of the page...that should be the first thing you look at before posting anything. It answers a lot of the beginner questions you may have. Good luck
