B16 td-22u dizzy trouble
Hi I got a b16 swap da integra. I dizzy was going bad so I bought a td-22u dizzy from a importer company. When I first installed or i didn't put the harness plugs on on accident. But it was cranking but not turning over. As soon as I plugged them in it just wouldn't crank at all. And it was throwing up a code 8 on my ecu. So idk what's wrong with it. Idk if I got the wrong dizzy or a faulty one. I just need some help to steer me in the right direction. So if anyone can help that'll be great.

Yea I installed the dist. once 180 off and it wouldn't crank, pull it out and spin it 180 and insert it back in and see what happens, some dist. will make it real hard to put it in wrong and some dist. will go in easy but it will be off 180 deg.

Got it all figured out. Turns out that the ground for the starter was disconnected. Now I'm having issues with ignition timing. Its way off from the mark. And when I retard it all the it get close to the mark but not right at the mark. And when I drive it around town it drives fine but i when I took it out of town and came back to town it turned off on me twice in a row.

I got to the mark but it was all the way retarded so it ran like crap. Idk if I'll have to advanced ignition timing light. I only have the basic one

Use a stock ECU and then set the Ignition timing to spec, I just got a timing gun from harbor freight for like $15 works perfect!
