my antenna won't go down. my boy thinks it's the motor. but every time i turn on the car i can hear it trying to raise the antenna, even though it's already up. what do you think the prob is? 95 integra rs by the way. (hatch)

 

It's not the motor, the antenna mast is the part that goes up and down. Replace the mast and your antenna will be as good as new.

You can get cheap masts on ebay for about $25.

 

so what just screw it off and replace? if that's it i'm stupid for waiting so long to post this.

 

i have an antenna assembly im selling if anyone is interested..no bends in the antenna, it goes up and down smooth, from my 98 integra.

 

just bought an antenna mast off ebay. 25 bucks.
