Push the antenna back down. The Integra antennas are known to go out. There are alternatives to having the stock antenna.

The anteanna cable itself has nylon teeth in it. I'm willing to bet when your brother pulled it out he stripped those teeth.

Your best bet it to take the whole antennea out and check the white nylon cable. See if the teeth are intact. If they aren't..... I bet they're still in the motor and that's not good.

if so...
take it out and get a s2k antenna
some mofication required but not too much should take
about 20-30 mins max to install

btw imo it looks a lot better
compared to stock

When you turn on and off you stereo can you hear the antenna motor? If you can hear it the motor it is still good. You just have to replace the antenna with a good cable.

People have had reception problems with the S2000 antenna.

I am currently seeking an amplified internal on-the-glass antenna and will then just get an antenna delete plug. Any suggestions?
