another cluster problem- with a twist
i've spent an hour searching on HT and TI and still can't find a solid answer for my question...
i have a 1994 obd1 gsr.
So I got a gsr cluster on ebay, supposedly out of a 96. My car did not have a cluster in it when I bought it. (Theft recovery). The guy who had it before had a USDM itr cluster in it (probably why it was ripped off).
Heres the problem- plugged it in and open the ignition and the temp and fuel gauges immediately go all the way to the right. I get a lot of lights too- check engine, abs, etc...
from what I've read, it sounds like and obd2 obd1 mismatch problem. Could the guy have lied about the year?
Now i read up on the "swapping green film" solution. The only problem is I don't have a green film to swap with. Is there a wiring diagram on the actual harness so i can modify that? Would that work?
thanks guys

is there anyway to re-wire from the harness side so I can use an obd2 cluster and obd2 green film?</TD></TR></TABLE>

bump???
i fixed it.
for those searching that have a similar problem, I used blueintegraboy's diagram and compared the pinouts for my year integra. Turns out, the pins for the fuel and temp guage were wired for a 98-99 teg. put them back to 94-97 and it works like a charm. no green film swap.
