Spedo Problem.... Help!
Hey all.
My spedo is going nuts. I have a JDM EG6 cluster (White face) in my EG. Worked fine for over a year.
I just put in a system about a month ago.
Now for the prob.....
When I accel, the spedo goes nuts from 0 to 40 KPH. After that, it works fine..... and everything is is problem free all the time. The strange part... This doesn't happen all the time. I also notice it up arounf 120 KPM mark also.
Is this a cluster problem or is my alternator going?

Re: Spedo Problem.... Help! (Sl0wEH2)
Sounds to me like its a wiring proplem, the system may have bumped the wire just enough to cause an intermitent short? unlikely but possible or more likey the cluster itself is bad, i had it happen to my friends car and it was the cluster same symtoms as yours

Problem with your Spedo's?! Too tight? Are you getting a rash?
I agree with the "swap the cluster with another one" plan, that way you know for sure if it's the cluster itself, or possibly a VSS or wiring problem.
