Am I crazy for paying this for a DA Integra?
$5,000
1992
1 Owner
White/Blue
Ls? Power everything, sunroof, cruise, 5 speed.
31,000 miles (He used it as a 3rd car)
Garage Kept
Work done at Acura with paperwork.
Timing belt/water pump done.
New Ecu? haha yeah. I guess he had some starting issues. But he spend $1000 at acura recently and has the paperwork for that also.
Drives incredibly. Not a ding, dent, scratch, cleanest one I have ever seen. Has an oem hood bra. Car is amazingly nice. I am just looking to see what you would spend on this car. Please don't say $1 or $2500. I see piles of do do selling for almost 4k.
I guess my question is what would you pay for something like this realistically?

For what it is worth. I saw this exact car with 21,000 miles and had an automatic bring $6,000 at a dealer only auto auction a few months back. I think $5,000 is a fair price if its what you say it is.

Like any other belt.... its 20 years old. Acura told him it needed to be done, so..... he did. The Ecu he said the car didnt start so he brought it to acura. they put an ecu in it.

i wouldnt have payed that much for it, but we all have our own certain standards, and you can exactly put a price on something if you really want it bad enough. i would keep it close to stock as possible if it were me.

Looks nice but I would be mad at myself afterwards if I bought it for 5k. I would be happy at 4k. It is a 20 year old car.

well, i would give 4k for it since youre in new york and its a rust free car. make sure you check underneath the car and frame as well though. it just all depends on what area you live in as to what a certain car would be worth. it would bring 4k all day long in my area. whats his asking price?

I would also like to know what the asking price is.
If it is as discribed and I had a mechanic go over it, I would spend $5000 for a "minty" G2. 94

Re: Am I crazy for paying this for a DA Integra?
probably worth it. BUT, you're going to have a lot of work to do. all the chassis bushings will probably need to be replaced, shocks will probably need to be replaced. tires? look at the date code, they may need it too.
it's rare you find a car with that low of mileage for so little money but you're realistically looking at 7k if you spend 5k on it. 6k if you skimp. changing all the control arm bushings and whatnot is time consuming btw

^^i highly doubt it was that clean. 1 owner. 31k. hard to put a price on old stuff that's been basically time capsuled. i'd definitely say it's fair. especially if you're looking for this specific car and as clean as possible. doesn't get much better
it just sucks if somebody t bones you. makes it hard to own anything genuinely nice.

Re: Am I crazy for paying this for a DA Integra?
My DA was pretty clean when i sold it. Mine was pretty much stock with a new paint job, replaced struts and coil-overs, rims and tires. It wasnt garage kept with 30,000 miles on it but that doesnt double a cars value.

Clean! I'd say that would be my cap at $5000. Not bad if it's as good as it seems. I may have been leaning towards $4000 but thats without seeing everything in person.

guys. it's not the same thing. new paint. new motor. doesn't matter. this thing is untouched. all original. that's not to say that your cars weren't nice by any means. it's just apples and oranges man
