Default AEM CAI question

hey i helped my friend out with his intake install today on his integra, i dont know that much about tegs (i drive a lude), but my question is when we took out the air box and resonator so we could fit the intake, theres this open pipe which my friends think is the brake vent, its located near where the front bumper touches the fender at the top, next to the brake fluid stuff. its running open right now, should i worry about that? i know what im saying may be hard to follow, but i dont have any pics. the pipe im talkign about is a clear vanilla color, and its connected to the resonator. (the resonator being the thing at the bottom of the right of the front bumper connected to the airbox right?)

That is part of the stock air intake system... you should take it out.
