Advice needed please..
So I'm a poor college kid with an Integra. Soon it'll have I/H/E which will keep me a little happy for a while. This is my tentative plan sorta, which would take like two years to complete, but, this is the order I think I wanna buy my parts:
1) Shocks/Springs (at the same time)
2) 16x7ish light(er) weight wheels w/tires, Volk TE-37, CP-035, SSR Comps.. something like that.
3) Drag Gen 3 Turbo Kit w/Hondata
4) OEM underbody kit and repaint the car milano red! (my car looks pretty shitty know, and by this time it'll be unbearable)
5) Rebuild internals, bigger exhaust, and misc. whatever to raise boost.
Then I'll be done.
This is my reasoning. The car isn't going to be fast until I pour tons of money into it (step 3) and I think I can get the car to handle like it's on rails for 1/3 of the cost of the turbo (shocks/springs/swyabar, etc).
The most debatable step would be the wheels and tires. I might buy em used, they don't have to be new. I would hopefully spend around $1500 for those w/tires. I know you may think 'No! Keep saving for the turbo!' Yeah, I know.. but I love how tasteful wheels look on cars, it just adds so much class to them. It's hard to explain, and I go back and forth thinking about wether I should get wheels before power stuff or vice versa.
I think I'd maybe switch 2 and 3 and/or 4 and 5.
I like the idea of going fast but I don't like the idea of looking like **** while doing it.
Thoughts?

Step 4 first, followed by Step 2.
*smirk*Please, shocks and springs first, followed by high perf street tires, tasty yet LIGHT rims, followed by Turbo. Best route to go. Throw looks out the window. The other guy doesn't care about what your car looks like, he only care's that you're beating him.

I disagree, resale on I/H/E is very decent, you might lose $30 on the intake, same for the header, and like $75 for the exhaust. People are always looking for cheap used (quality parts).

this is just me.. but I'd dump the I/H/E idea and apply that money to get your suspension, brakes, rims and tires done..I wanna be able to handle first before I'm puttin power down... then go straight for the turbo and exhaust...
