Ok here's the deal, I searched around, even on team-integra's site and one of them actually said something worth reading. He said:
"Who cares if its "left" or "right" anyway? Technically it's both, just depends on which direction you look at it from. The problem is that no one is defining left and right properly. We live in a 3 dimensional world, and "left" or "right" only accounts for 2 of them."
Just think of it this way...the car sits on the spring, the spring sits on the perch, you are adjusting the height of the perch. Higher perch = higher car and lower perch = lower car.
As for which direction to turn it, just turn the thing and watch what happens...if you want it lower and it's going up, turn it back the other direction!
And to measure them to be the same right on each side of the car, you could measure from the jack points while the car is sitting on the ground. "
So I decided to work on mines and low-n-behold my ride height didn't change a bit. I'm only working on the two front coilovers for now. I'm trying to raise the car back up as its just too low and the ride is sihtting as ever.
Tein's coilover have two locking seats and what I did was rotate it clockwise(right) all the way down to its lowest setting. Of course I know that'll lower the car drastically, but here's the problem when I change the seats and rotate it counterclockwise(left) making the distances of the springs travel shorter, my ride height was still the same. I have no finger gap at all on either its lowest settings or when the seats sits about 13 treads above lowest. My previous settings I had on it was about 9 treads which measured out from center of wheel to fender about 10 inches. I got tried of working on it for now, since I got class in an hour. I just want to know how much more do I need to rotate to raise the car up to about 1-2 finger gap.
Thanks in advance if anyone helps.

finger gaps dont mean anything. it is all dependent on the size of your wheel/tire combo. as for adjusting, its all trial and error. old saggy bushings and old shocks will contribute to an uneven ride height. that is the beauty of coilovers; you can play with them all you want until they are at the height you desire.

I'll play around w/ it some more, eventually I'll find out the answer, just didn't want to go through the trail and error process...
