abs pump?

i hear this winding noise evertime i stop. like abs is kicking in, but its not brake skipping. is the pump going out?

What year? They've had at least 2 completely different ABS sytems...

My '95 occasionally pumps up it's accumulator, that's kinda normal, but it doesn't happen EVERY time I stop.
