so my brothers ABS light is on and i go to check the codes. i get code 1 which is 1 - ABS pump motor over-run, number 18 - high pressure system, and lastly 42 - wheel sensor LF . where should i start? my main concerns are 1 and 18. because the abs system keeps pressurizing itself while im driving. well im not sure if its doing that. but it makes that burrr noise as im driving. I've driven other integras before and it only does it when you first start the car. HELP MEE!!!!

 

i know what you mean, when you first start driving sometimes you hear that humming noise for like 5 seconds; its the same exact noise everytime. unfortunately, i dont know why it does that or how to fix it. its been doing that for well over a year now, and i just keep driving; it doesnt give me any problems.

what year is the teg? If it is an older one check the top of the abs pump. There should be a black cover on top of it. Pull it off and check the fluid in it. It might be low on brake fluid.

 

its a 94 teg. we're just gonna take the abs out. simple fix. dont need it anyways . thanks for the replys though
