I need help with my teg and i dont know what's wrong. First, the car is making noise from the abs box thing. and the abs light came on. what can i do and what is wrong? please help

 

Check your ABS cable it might be cut off, mines was cut off and had to get it soldered back on. So check if your ABS cable are still connected.

 

i just checked the cables and everything looks ok

 

only honda has a abs ecu so u gonna have to take it to the dealer

You may need to put fluid in the ABS unit... Mine was very low on fluid and it made this annoying vibrating noise..

mine too...what year is your car? mine is a 95. a couple of my friends with 95's also have this problem.

I'm just making a guess, but I'm assuming your car is a 94-97. You'll prob throw one of the following codes:

1 3 high pressure leakage
1 8 high pressure system

The cause of this problem is usually a faulty o-ring at the base of your accumulator. This is a very common problem in 94-97 integras. The humming sound that you're hearing is the accumulator attempting to pressurize.

Pull your codes first and then come back. The o-ring fix is under $5 rather than the $800-$1000 to replace the entire ABS unit.
