Driving around,ABS light wasn't on, After driving for a while, the Light came on and stayed on. Then I turned engine off and waited 5 mins. Turned engine on as usual ABS light stayed on for 2 seconds and went off as usual, but it didn't come back on again.
What caused the ABS to light upn when i was driving before?

what code? I don't have the factory stereo unit.. I have aftermarket.

anyone had this ABS problem before? how to fix it? if it even need to be fixed.

 

You should have it checked out. You can start with checking the abs fluid level. It's been known that a bad o-ring can cause the fluid to leak and/or trip the abs light.

 

yeah, check your fluid and see if it spits any codes out

 

what year is your car? jus askin to find out if u have the older or newer abs

 

Take it to a Honda dealer and ask them to read the code for you.

 

As others have said, first thing you should do is check your brake fluid level for your ABS reservoir. If that isn't the culprit, then you're going to have to jump the service connector with a paper clip. Read the flashes and pull the code from there.
Also, if you use the Search function, you'd find that there are at least 10 threads about ABS lights coming on.
