abs light
i have a 96 integra ls. here is the problem, after i installed a pair of ebay hid lights on, the abs light stay on and never go off. anyone know the problem? and will it affects the braking and handling? thanks
it could effect the effectiveness or function of the ABS system itself, but not acually make your car stop worse.
i dont see how an ABS code could ever effect handling. the answer is no

Yea, just g0 through the Integra FAQ thread and you should find the codes.
To answer the other part about handling and braking, it will effect the way you brake.
All the ABS or anti-lock brake system does is help prevent the car from skidding in the rain or snow. It helps the car grab the road better when you SLAMM on the brakes.
But you wont really feel the difference that much unless you are goin at high speeds and slam on the brake pedal or you are in the snow.

the abs wnt work causing the wheels to lock up when you slam on the brakes instead of the anti-brake pulsing to avoid the locking up... i got my light reset by removing the abs fuse for 30 seconds and putting it back in no problems since... the fuse is located in the fuse box near the abs pump...
