this morning i was driving to work and my abs light came on , why ?
my car aint braking junk, my car is running fine.........
it jus came on ? .................any things i should look for?

There's a malfunction in the ABS system. For what type of malfunction is beyond me. Maybe a sensor went out.

 

My light comes on and goes off all the time but the brake system is always working fine. I have read a lot of threads with people saying it was just a bad sensor or something got on it. Shouldn't give you a problem besides the light being annoying to look at.

 

Mine used to come on and go off randomly but now its on almost all the time. Its a code 7 I believe which I cant remember what part it is just that its caused by either that part going bad or wiring going bad.

I think my problem is due to wiring cause i'm starting to get a lot of crazy electrical problems in my car...doors locking by themselves all the time, stereo cutting out, ABS going off and on. I need to check for a bad ground I think.

 

i have the same problem as well....only it will come on if i had turned the car off then back on...

so im thinkin its the senor...i found a thread on it a while back, showin how its done...

 

what sensor is it?

me too but it because my master cylinder is on its way out lol. When its really hot out and im at a light, the pedal will go to the floor

 

check your brake fluid, its probably low, and it could also be the sensor on the ebrake. did you hydroplaned that morning? i think the light kicks in if the tires lose traction.

 

im gonna go check the fluid now.....and no i dont think i did any hydro action hahaha
my luck its probaly the dam ABS SENSOR......

 

Have you pulled the ABS codes? They will tell you what is wrong without random guessing. There is an instruction thread in the Integra FAQ thread.
