I have had the abs light on for almost 2 years , and for all that time i could not figure out what the problem was. A few days ago i changed the battary and noticed that the light was gone , and the ABS was fully working , for about 20 min untill the light came on again , but if u disconnect the battery and reconnect it ABS will be active until a error code flashes again ,

Now i pulled the codes , what i got was the ABS light Flashing ( 1 flash pause , flash flash ) This is on a 92 prelude rs with 4ws ( so i guess the number is 12 acording to my manual)


**** i'm really confused cause the code 12 is map sensor ? Please any one out there can u guys sheed some light on this ? ANY ONE ?

 

When your checking the code(s) are you looking in the ABS section or the brakes section?

Reason the light is going off is because you are resetting the ECU.

 

have you checked your brake fluid? low brake fluid will cause the light to come on
