Default 98 ITR Lip on 97 GSR

This is probaly been killed to death..

Since I am in Australia I am hard pressed to get a 97 ITR Lip and cost of shipping from the US is going to be a Killer from comptech..

Now has anyone managed to put a 98 ITR Lip on a 97 GSR? How much moulding does the panel beater have to do?

I don't know about Australia, but in North America the front end for the 97 and 98 integras are different so I doubt the lip would fit.

Edit sorry I didn't read the last part there, I really never heard of people molding on the lip (if thats what you mean) but yea comptech does sell a nice lip for the 94-97 integra that looks nice as hell.

I haven't heard of anyone putting a 98 lip on a 97 front end mainly because they are just so different.

It is possible. I've seen someone on this board do it before. It's not a straight-up fit though, it takes some dremelling/cutting.

Lots of modifying to make it fit. But it can work.

How much is Comptech charging for the shipping?

actually its not that much of "modifying" to do...all you have to do is cut the middle section OR cut the bottom part of your grill...i chose to cut the lip because i had my fogs in the bottom grill....

What you mean by cutting the middle section.. More details would be appreciated..

or alternatively we can take it off line and discuss it on email jsl@swiftdsl.com.au

Also I have emailed Comptech but I think it will cost like $100 US to ship to australia and also then customs going to tax me unless they say its a Gift and only worth $90.00
