Re: 98 Integra rear hatch
Linkage disconnected or latch damaged, switch in key cylinder N/G or unplugged, will it not open with switch on door either?

Can hear actuator operating at least electrically. Can I crawl through and remove trim panels and gain access without ruining anything to get it open?

Re: 98 Integra rear hatch
At this point it is your only option, it is going to be very hard to move the trim, [enough to access latch, without damaging it.
If you are carefull you may be able to bend the plastic up enough to get access without breaking it, do not try if it is cold, [plasic cracks when cold].
The power hatch release was not one of Hondas better ideas, they should have at least left the key cylinder a mecanical connection. 94
