I remember seeing topics on this in the past, the search engine sucks *** though. I'm doing a 98+ conversion and are their any diffrences between the 98-01 REAR BUMPERS? They look the same, I'm just trying to make sure...My car is in the shop getting painted SATIN SILVER. I believe it's the 01 GSR silver. I want everything 2001. Do I need to buy 01 Front and rear bumpers and headlights or are they the same through the years 98+? Any help will be appreciated

yes they are the same. altho i think the 94~97 rear bumpers look better, but thats my $0.02...

EDIT: BUT the 98~00 rear bumpers look pretty damn good with the OEM kit!

98-01 look lower, and have a bar running across the underneath.

 

Yea, I was, but I just helped out my older brother in buying his dream car, 97 GST. So, now I'm just gonna build the hell outta my current car. I'd much rather see it all fixed up

 

the 98+ rears are sweet

 

the 98-01 rears have the bar underneath which helps the rear look better, and is not as flat and rounded and highup looking as the 94-97s

 

I have a 98+ rear on my car. Looks sweet.
