Default 95/2000 ls differences?

I'm considering buying a 2000 LS, what exactly are the differences between some of the older and newer ls's? I know the whole obd 1/2 thing, but other then that? Performance wise, is there much of a difference?

the diff between a 95 and a 2000 is mostley exterior and interior than performance. The diff in exterior is the bumpers, headlights are a little smaller on the 95, taillights, wheels(2000 have 15nch mesh wheels and the 95 have 14nch hub caps) 95 has the trunk release inside the car and the 2000 have the trunk release lever in the rear of the car. Just little stuff like that. The motor is the exact same(except valve cover is diff).

Well the sensors on the motor is different.
2000 is OBD-II
1995 is OBD-I

To be honest, I did miss that in the original posting, OBDI/II.

But that is about the only performance difference I know of. the On Board Diagnostics and how the ECU reacts to its readings.

I don't think there's that much of a difference, but the obdII does hold it back a little bit. ODB II is more sensitive and OBD I responds easier to the mods

Yet another person that seems to believe all that they read...

And you still believe that there is an advantage with OBDI over OBDII?

Anyways...back to the original thread starter...

There is a 2 hp difference in the 95 and 2000ls engine ratings. The 95 is rated at 140, and the 2000 is rated at 142. It's not going to make or break you.

The front and rear fascia's are different, the mirrors are different, and the 2000 probably comes with GS-R wheels. Not to mention the 2000 has the immobilizer built into the ECU. Off the top of my head, that's all I can think of.

Could be...maybe I was thinking of the B18A1...but I thought that was 130...either way...It doesn't make a big difference.
