the gsr actually needs this octane or better cause of the hight
compression ratio.

unless you are in a simple non vtec. you dont need it

damn man good to be on the east side. 91 is about 2.05 right now. but that gas will help your engine run cleaner and smoother.

Damn, and I thought it was bad paying about 2.05 for 93 octane here in Houston.

go by factory recommendations. from your other post, you say you have a gsr. Premium fuel only, so 91 or higher.

Dont' be Cheap. Use Premium all the Time. Get the highest octane you can get. Especially if you have VTEC. we can get 94 here in Canada. 91 is good if you dont' have VTEC or thats all you can get. And if you have a chip MAKE SURE you use premium. Advanced timing will cause detonation with cheap gas. Chips advance timing.

non-vtec here. I seem to get better gas mileage from 87 octane. still like $234293847 per gallon tho. scares me to think how poor I'd be if I was still driving my mustang every day

if you have some mods and no access to fuel over 91 octane, get some booster! or some race fuel. mmmmm.

haha i got you all beat here in missery or st louis missouri. at this one gas station i go to they only have 87 and 93 so 93 is only 10c more than the 87 so its like 179 or less. haha hey our weather might suck the big one compared to socal but our gas is cheap.
