It idles waaaay tooo low. it also loobs like a muscle car.. it kills itself because of the idle being so low. i tried adjusting the idle but it still dies. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you get your car tuned after those mods? If not it will probably run like ****.

you need to get tuned, cam gears dialed in etc.

to add to the above post, did you disconnect the iacv when you adjusted your idle?

Check for vacuum leaks?

Does it run well if you depress the throttle a bit and drive around? Or does it smoke?

Like others said, check for vacuum leaks (spraying carb cleaner works well, if you can get it to idle by holding the throttle open steady). And you're gonna need a tune to run those cams. also take off your FITV and make sure that the plastic piece within it hasnt screwed itself out. that happened to me one time and my idle was about 250rpm on a completely stock b17. def at least crack it open and check it out to rule it out. if you don't have new gaskets at least reseal everything with pematex ultra grey or hondabond

aand as long as your taking off the FITV, it wouldn't hurt to get a new IACV gasket from the dealer, and remove and clean your IACV w/ carb cleaner.

not sure how the fitv would cause a low idle. also, a vac leak is going to raise idle..traditionally. however, when a vac leak occurs, the iacv will just close to bring idle back down to where it should be. regardless, it's not the issue. my guess is it' either out of adjustment idle or an iac issue
